RAVENNA, Ohio --Walsh Jesuit is looking to stay undefeated as they are priming for a showdown with a hot Fitch team in the OHSAA regional semi-finals.

Portage Community Bank Stadium Harry Gilchrist Field is the site for this much-anticipated Division II Region 5 match-up. Walsh, coming off a regional quarter-final victory over Hudson, has beaten some good teams during the course of the season.

With wins over Akron Hoban, Benedictine, and Ursuline, all of which have a combined record of 31-5 all still in the playoffs, this makes it very interesting if Walsh has a shot at winning the region.

Standing in the way is the 9-3 Falcons from Fitch, who are coming off two wins, defeating Mayfield and Warren Harding in postseason play. Coincidentally, Austintown lost to Warren Harding in week 10 of the regular season but also lost to Ursuline 35-0 in week 6.

Key player for Jesuit is senior quarterback Keller Moten, an outstanding athlete who has thrown for over 2,400 yards in weeks 1-10 with 36 touchdowns and counting.

Fitch has a load of players, but these two stand out: LB Rocco DiFlorio, who leads that defense with his ability to get boundary to boundary with good speed and relentlessness to lay hard hits; and sophomore RB Deon'Dray Richard may just be one of the top rushers in Northeast Ohio.
