Tyler Curtain will take over the program after coaching stints with Shaker Heights, Euclid, and Kent Roosevelt.
The Falcons add some different teams to the mix coming into the 2025 season, through the second and fourth week of action, they added the Norton Panthers, Eastlake North, and the Ridgewood Generals to the schedule.
In week seven and week nine they will play Benedictine and the Lucas Cubs. Teams from last season still on the schedule are Cleveland John Hay, Warrensville Heights, Cleveland East Tech, Cleveland Central Catholic and Warren John F. Kennedy.
Those newly added teams combined for a record of 36-22, with four of the five making the state playoffs.
So it looks as if Curtain wanted to strengthen the schedule heading into his first campaign.
Gone from the schedule are Garfield Heights, Oberlin, and Akron City Series schools Garfield, Firestone, and Ellet.
Lutheran East plays as an independent or freelance school under the Ohio High School Athletic Association membership.
