Dedication of historical marker for first NFL office in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio - As stated in a newsletter published by the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, Linda Logan, who serves as the CEO and President of the GCSC, participated alongside Mayor Ginther and various city officials, in addition to NFL historians, to unveil a historical marker located at 16 E. Broad St. 

In attendance was also Ryan Vesler, the CEO and Founder of Homage. Homage is a clothing brand that focuses on sports and pop culture, based in Columbus, Ohio.

The new historical marker will serve as a way to honor the city's pivotal role in professional sports history and celebrate Columbus's lasting legacy as a sports destination.

The first NFL office existed from 1927-1939, was on the eleventh floor of the New Hayden Building when then NFL President Joseph F. Carr, a native of Columbus, held the leadership.

The event occurred on Saturday, September 20.
