ORRVILLE, Ohio - What an exciting week ten conference game in the PAC-7, a story of two halves, as both teams had a strong desire to secure a victory in their last regular season game at Red Rider Stadium.

The Titans of Triway would come out with a 27-21 win to capture the outright Principals Athletic Conference title and finish the regular season 9-1. "It feels really good, I'm just really proud of the guys," said Kelly when asked about winning the PAC-7 outright.

From the very beginning of the game, Triway was in control, while Orrville struggled to reach the endzone during the first quarter. It was a back-and-forth contest until Triway scored with 4:56 remaining in the quarter, thanks to a 48-yard pass from Starr to Bruin Flinner, making the score 7-0 after a successful PAT by Cohen Baker.

Triway would get another shot after an Orrville drive was stopped after wide receiver Breylon McDuffie fumbled the ball after a catch with 2:49. Still, Triway failed to convert, with a couple of procedure penalties resulting in a punt after a 4 and 19 situation. They would lead going into the second quarter.

Triway opened up the second quarter, with Orrville's defense failing to get pressure on Starr. He would find a crease and run 40 yards with 11:32 left and taking a 14-0 lead into halftime after an Orrville fumble and their defense holding Triway, forcing them to go for it on 4th down after they pulled their field goal kicker off the field. They did not convert.

"That's just our O-line busting their butts all game, they're some tough dudes, they work hard," said Starr.

Triway would pass the ball for 102 yards in the first half to Orrville's 25 yards.

Opening the 3rd quarter of action, Orrville would receive the ball after deferring the coin toss; they would pass the ball, taking shots downfield to get something going. After switching to sophomore quarterback Mark Lorson, he would find Breylon McDuffie on a 22-yard pass at 8:54 to bring the score to 7-14.

However, the defense was once more unable to contain Starr, who responded with a touchdown following a 7-yard quarterback keeper with 4:59 remaining, thereby increasing the lead to 14.

Although Orrville would air it out more, the quarter ended with them trailing 7-21.

The fourth quarter was more of Starr as he would extend the lead once again, rushing for a 7-yard touchdown to open the period, increasing the score 27-7 after a failed PAT.

Orrville would not go away that easily, scoring on two occasions with two different quarterbacks, first Mark Lorson would find the endzone again with Tyson Woodruff on a 38-yard reception, and followed by a 4-yard touchdown reception thrown by Cameron Kraft to Case McDaniel to close the gap 27-21 after a pair of made PATs.

"Second half, they came out throwing the ball, umm, we had some good DBs back there as well, so we lost some one-on-ones and also won a lot of one-on-ones," said Kelly.

However, that 14-point last quarter would not be enough, as Triway would seal the victory by going into victory formation with just over 0:20 seconds left in the game to preserve the win and secure a first-round bye and home game heading into the playoffs.

Orrville also clinched a spot in the playoffs in the recently changed 12-team per region format.
