Abdullah Mason (20-0, 17 by KO ), the (WBO) reigning lightweight world champion and Cleveland native, is set to defend his world title against Albert Bell (28-0, 9 by KO), who is ranked #6 in the WBO Lightweight standings and hails from Toledo, Ohio.
Mason and Bell headline TNT and DAZN's inaugural The Fight event, a new monthly live boxing series, and will be broadcast co-exclusively in the U.S. on TNT, truTV and DAZN and worldwide on DAZN.
Initially, Mason was set to fight a mandatory against Joe Cordina; however, due to circumstances beyond the ring, he was replaced by Bell, who was scheduled to fight Cuban Olympic gold medalist Andy Cruz in an IBF lightweight title final eliminator on July 18.
"The opportunity was presented, I said yes, if you know my story, it's been a long road," said Bell.

Also, on the fight card, there will be an additional championship bout with WBC World Featherweight Champion Bruce Carrington defending the title against Rene Palacios, Tiger Johnson vs. Christopher Guerrero (10-round, Welterweight), Deric Davis vs. Carlos Ramos ( 8-round, Lightweight), Abdurrahman Mason vs. TBA (4-round, Lightweight), and Ibrahim Mason vs. TBA (4-round, Super Featherweight).
