CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio — A video has emerged depicting a former Canal Winchester head football coach who stepped down following allegations of unprofessional conduct, as previously reported.
The contents of the video can be found here, as released by ABC6 Columbus who obtained the video through a records request.
In the video, you can watch former coach Rob Page using really harsh language toward a player. His angry speech keeps going for around 30 minutes while the player stands on a box right in front of all his teammates, based on what the video shows.
During the investigation into the incident, he was placed on paid administrative leave, and two days later he resigned not only from coaching but also from his social studies teaching position.
During his time with the Indians, he coached in 17 games total. After finishing with a 10-2 record, he made it to the 2025 OHSAA playoffs, but his team got knocked out in the second round.
He was 2-3 before he departed from the program, as interim head coach Corey Coe won his first game on Friday with a 44-13 win over Newark.
