MASSILLON, Ohio — Sitting Judge Andrew Logan issued a ruling and has DENIED the motion for the temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction for Massillon football players Brayton and Brydon Feister, according to court documents filed in Stark County Common Pleas Court.
"Exempting the Feister Plantiffs from the administative process, particulary where their application was denied and they declined the opportunity to appeal, and from the Bylaws adopted by the member schools would disrupt the competitie balance and eligibility framework on which every member school relies, undermine uniform enforcement of the Transfer Bylaw, and create an iequitable advantage for one school at the expense of others that comply with the rules, if every student who submitted a late exception appplication and lacked a ruling by midseason could obtain an injunction, the OHSAA's administrative process would be rendered meaningless," -- Judge Andrew Logan in court order.
Da'Shun Williams' injunction was dismissed and ordered as "Denied as Moot," meaning the OHSAA had already approved his Exception 1 application before the court's decision.
