Tom Siegfried directed the program for 18 seasons before deciding to resign in order to support his son, Beau Siegfried, who will be entering his freshman year at Ashland University this fall, and to dedicate more time to his family.
Siegfried remains a history teacher within the district and is involved in the baseball program, ensuring he will not be distant, but doesn't want to miss any of his son's college career, as he mentioned in earlier interviews regarding his decision to step back.
