PHOENIX, Arizona -- Saniyah Hall and Anthony Thompson are scheduled to travel to Phoenix, Arizona, in March, as they have been selected to be members of the McDonald's All-American team East.
There are only 12 roster positions on each of the four teams for boys and girls
Hall is presently a senior at Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio. During her junior year, she attended Montverde Academy in Florida, and she began her high school journey at Laurel in Shaker Heights, where she completed her freshman and sophomore years.

She is committed to starting her college career at USC. Additionally, she was one of ten nominees from Ohio: Milee Smith (Unioto), Whitley Davis (Winton Woods), Ariyana Cradle (Spire Academy), Kaylah Thornton (Fairmont Kettering), Blossom Wallace (Pickerington Central), Addison Godby (Fairland), Bailey Russell (Fairland), and Tristan Williams (Laurel).
Anthony Thompson of Western Reserve Academy, who is committed to the Ohio State University, also made the roster for the East team. There were eight boy nominees from Ohio: Marcus Johnson (Garfield Heights), Jason Singleton (Columbus Academy), Tarris Bouie (Spire Academy), Alex Constanza (Spire Academy), and Aiden Derkack (Spire Academy).
This year's game will be played at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. This will be the 49th annual event that showcases top high school boys and girls basketball players in the country.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN.
