Rick Macer appointed commissioner of the United Athletic Conference

NORTHEAST OHIO -- Rick Macer has been appointed as the new commissioner of the recently formed United Athletic Conference, as announced by Warrensville Heights Athletics via social media.

In total, there will be six members in the conference: Warrensville Heights, Bedford, Maple Heights, Garfield Heights, South Euclid Lyndhurst (Brush), and the Youngstown Defenders, following the merger of Youngstown Chaney and Youngstown East.

The United Athletic Conference was revealed in December 2025.
