CINCINNATI, Ohio — For the third time in his college career, Sencire Harris will indeed be transferring from the University of Cincinnati, as announced by Pete Nakos of On3.

The native of Canton, Ohio, graduated from Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in 2022, having led his team to consecutive state championships in the previous two years.

Following his impressive time at STVM, he committed to the University of Illinois. There, he played in 33 games, starting in seven of them, and averaged 3.7 points along with 2.1 rebounds per game during his freshman year. Later on, he chose to redshirt his sophomore year to further develop his skills.

After completing his second season at Illinois, he entered the transfer portal and subsequently joined West Virginia. There, he played one season, starting all 32 games and averaging 5.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 54 steals. Was named to the Big 12 All-Defensive team.

More recently, he was playing for the University of Cincinnati, where he played in 31 games but only made eight starts, a significant decline from his one and only season at West Virginia.

Known for his high-energy, defensive-minded play and ability to "do the dirty work."

Harris is the son of TJ and Tasha Harris, has an older brother, Rob, two younger brothers, Dallas and Terek, and an older sister, Marquia, who played at Texas Southern and Xavier.
