OHIO--Multiple head high school football coaches around the state have either been let go, resigned or retired as the 2024 campaign has concluded as of press time.
Toledo Whitmer head coach Ken Winters has left the program after spending 9 seasons at the helm, he was named 2024 District Coach of the Year.

Another move was Clay High School coach John Galyas, turning in his resignation after 8 years of leadership, this year he finished (8-3) and took home the 2024 Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division Championship, citing he wants to prioritize personal matters according to school press release.
This morning, the OCS Department of Athletics held a player meeting at the Potter Field House, during which Coach John Galyas announced his decision to step down as head football coach.

Gibsonburg will also be looking for a new head football coach as Joe Wyant has stepped away to retire after spending the last five seasons with the Golden Bears, compiling a record of (36-19) and (9-3) this past season.

In other moves Anthony Wayne offensive coordinator Joe Horn was hired in place of Larry McDaniel at St. John's Jesuit.
There have been multiple head coaching changes around the State of Ohio as we start the off-season, we are sure there is more to come.
