AKRON, Ohio-On June 17, the Greater Akron-Canton High School Sports Awards will honor another group of outstanding participants in high school athletics. This year's event is scheduled to take place at the John S. Knight Center, located on the campus of Akron University, at 7:00 p.m., presented by Meijer.
The Greater Akron-Canton High School Sports Awards is an athletic recognition program honoring the top-performing athletes, coaches, and teams in the Akron, Canton, and Portage areas.
Nominees are announced at the end of each sports season (fall, winter, spring).
