LEXINGTON TWP, Ohio--Scott Stayer has been appointed as the next Athletic Director of Marlington Local Schools, following a recommendation made during a Board of Education meeting on June 12.
Scott has been an educator for many years, starting in 2000 with Canton City Schools and later transitioning to Canton South.
His coaching career commenced in 1998 at Perry High School, followed by tenures at Canton South and Massillon Jackson. He has been involved in coaching various sports, such as football, basketball, and track.

His contract is an administrative agreement for three years, commencing on August 1, 2025, and concluding on July 31, 2028.
The long-time educator has a Master's in Administration and a Bachelor's degree and takes the place of Chad Hilliard.
