LOUISVILLE, Ohio - Louisville, in an official press release from the school district, has announced that the school was 'invited' to join the All-American Conference, according to a press release by the school athletic director, Terrie Horn.
"We appreciate the invitation from the All-American Conference and the confidence they've shown in our athletic program," said Superintendent Michele Shaffer. "While this is certainly an exciting possibility, we want to ensure we take the time necessary to fully evaluate what this move would mean for our students, staff, and families before moving forward."
They have been independent since the 2017-2018 season, during which they were part of the Northeastern Buckeye Conference.
The All-American Conference is currently based out of the Trumbull-Mahoning Counties area, and presently consists of five OHSAA member schools: Austintown-Fitch Falcons, Boardman Spartans, Canfield Cardinals, Howland Tigers, and Warren G. Harding Raiders.
