COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The number-one-ranked recruit in Ohio will have to sit out two games for violating the OHSAA rules, according to the OHSAA.

The violations are two separate and unrelated incidents that each carried a one-game suspension and are not related to his NIL-related lawsuit or his transfer back to Wayne High School, according to the report.

The OHSAA said that the violations will be made public at next Thursday's OHSAA Board of Directors meeting, according to Tim Stried, Director of Media Relations for the OHSAA.

"The student-athlete who transferred back to Wayne did meet a transfer exception, but due to two unrelated infractions, he will sit the first two games of the regular season," said Stried. "He will be eligible to participate in week 3."

He also noted that the association gave Brown an exception to participate at its state track and field championships and that Brown will have to re-apply for the same exception in order to participate in a full football season at Big Walnut.

The 5-star athlete won an injunction his junior year to receive Name, Image, and Likeness benefits after filing a lawsuit against the OHSAA. The lawsuit was filed on his behalf by his mother.

According to the Dayton Daily News, he is expected to graduate early from high school and participate at Ohio State this spring, his committed college.

He will miss this Friday's game against Fairfield and a week-two game against Cincinnati St. Xavier on Friday, August 28.
