MASSILLON, Ohio -- Today could not have gone any better for Massillon Football, as their top prospect, Brayton Feister, announced his college commitment to the University of Oregon during a live broadcast of the Pat McAfee Show.

The Oregon Ducks received a high-profile commitment; the 2027 prospect displayed his talent playing for Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio, on both sides of the ball. On defense, he posted 133 tackles, 13 sacks, four forced fumbles, and two interceptions last season.

On offense, he scored 17 touchdowns and ran for over 1,000 yards before transferring to the Tigers for his senior season.

Of the four teams that were finalists- Ohio State, Georgia, and California among the total of 36 offers, according to 247Sports, he chose Oregon.

"You don't really know exactly what it is, but you just know something draws you to that place. That's kind of how I picked Oregon," said Feister on the Pat McAfee Show.

Brayton also has a brother on the football team, Brydon, who is a member of the class of 2028, is considered a three-star athlete, and whose primary position is EDGE.

Massillon is set to start their 2026 season with a game against Glenville on Friday, August 21, at Massillon Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, marking an eagerly awaited week one clash in high school football.
