NILES, Ohio - Jim Parry is stepping down from his position as the head football coach at Niles after eight seasons, having informed his team and staff this afternoon, according to WFMJ Youngstown.
His overall record over eight seasons stands at 30 wins and 50 losses with two playoff appearances in 2020 and 2023, concluding this season with a record of 0 wins and 10 losses, and a record of 1 win and 9 losses in 2024.
Parry is a 1990 graduate of Niles and was hired in 2018 after two previous tries were unsuccessful; he succeeded Brian Shaner, who held the position for six seasons.
As of press time, neither the school district nor Parry made a statement.
